Relationship Baggage: It's not what you think
Kola McGrath gets arrested for sneaking into her boyfriend's Portland, Ore. apartment in a suitcase, Thursday, June 7, 2012.
(Credit: KOIN)(CBS/AP) PORTLAND, Ore. - It's an alleged crime...a suitcase. Police say 50-year-old Kola McGrath was arrested Monday after workers at her boyfriend's Portland apartment complex found him sneaking McGrath into the building by hiding her in a large rolling piece of luggage.
McGrath was banned from the building last year for breaking a fire extinguisher case during an argument.
The Oregonian reports the suitcase stowaway McGrath is 5-feet-6 inches tall, and weighs 96 pounds. She's charged with trespassing.
Police were alerted to the unorthodox entry when a caller reported that a man had kidnapped a woman, placing her in a pink suitcase and taking her to the apartment building.
Eventually, officers then searched 52-year-old Curtis T. Lowe's apartment and found McGrath hiding in a closet.
Now they really have some relationship baggage.
