Rep: 'Lindsay Lohan is fine, just exhausted'
LINDSAY LOHAN's representative has blamed a lack of sleep and dehydration for the actress' health scare on Friday morning (15Jun12).
The Mean Girls star sparked fears for her health after reports suggested she had been found unconscious in her penthouse suite at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Marina del Rey, California, where she has been filming her official comeback movie, TV project Liz & Dick.
Paramedics were called to the scene after producers failed to get hold of Lohan, but they left after finding nothing medically wrong with the 25 year old.
The actress' representative Steve Honig has now revealed she was not admitted to hospital and insists Lohan will be just fine.
In a statement issued to Eonline.com on Friday, Honig said, "Lindsay has been working a gruelling schedule for the last couple of days. Last night she worked from 7pm to 8am. She was exhausted and went back to her room to sleep. Producers were apparently concerned and called the fire department and paramedics found her sleeping but determined that she was fine, just extremely exhausted and slightly dehydrated.
"She is on her way home now to rest and will be back on set later today."
Lohan's mother Dina has also assured fans the actress is doing well, telling GossipCop.com, "She's fine! Long days but she is doing an amazing job."
Friday morning's incident comes exactly one week (08Jun12) after Lohan was involved in a car crash with a large truck in Los Angeles. Her rented Porsche was totalled in the collision, although she escaped with minor injuries.
The accident is currently under police investigation.
