Warm, humid weather returns to Northeast Ohio, brings chances of thunderstorms
CLEVELAND, Ohio — The few nights of nice sleeping weather ended on Thursday night-Friday morning.
At 3 a.m. today it was 76 degrees with 64 percent humidity at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, according to the National Weather Service. That's not too comfortable. It's likely windows were slamming shut and air-conditioners cranking up throughout Northeast Ohio.
It will remain warm today, with a high expected to be near 87 degrees under mostly sunny skies. There is a good chance of thunderstorms on Saturday.

Today: Partly sunny, with a high near 87. Isolated showers and thunderstorms after 2 a.m. Partly cloudy, with a low around 70.
Saturday: Scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 7 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 83. Chance of precipitation is 50 percent. Scattered showers and thunderstorms overnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 71.
Sunday: Scattered showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 87. Scattered showers and thunderstorms overnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 70.
Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 87. Partly cloudy Monday night, with a low around 73.
Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 91. Mostly cloudy overnight, with a low around 74.
Wednesday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 87, a low around 71.
Thursday: Partly sunny, with a high near 84.
